Irish Culture Night feat. Jo & Chris Bergeron and Pepin Mittelhauser

Escape the drab November weather with Winter Harbor Music’s Irish Culture Night. Enjoy traditional music presented by Jo & Chris Bergeron with Pepin Mittlehauser. Sip your pint while listening to famous traditional tunes and songs. If you have experience Irish Dancing, why not take the opportunity to show off your skills!

Jo & Chris Bergeron have risen quickly to prominence on the traditional scene. They regularly perform in sessions across the region and made their debut this year at the Belfast Celtic Festival.

Gouldsboro native, Pepin Mittlehauser is a known name in the Maine folk scene. He performs regularly up and down the coast in the style of famous singers like Gordon Bok and Stan Rogers. If you listen to WERU you’ve likely caught him hosting New Potatoes, their weekly Celtic radio program. Guinness and potato crisps (chips) will be available by donation. All attendees are encouraged to bring an Irish themed dish to pass.

A Quick Clarification

Because there are several arts organizations in our region, it’s easy for supporters to assume we are all part of the same entity. Winter Harbor Music is a completely separate nonprofit with its own staff, budget, and programming.

We rely on our own fundraising to sustain our work each season. When you give through this page, your donation supports Winter Harbor Music exclusively.
