Support Us

The Winter Harbor Music Festival brings year-round Classical Music concerts, community opera, chamber music, and artist-faculty collaborations to the spectacular Downeast tip of the Schoodic Peninsula.

If you’ve ever sat in Hammond Hall and felt the hall come alive — with Rossini, Mozart, Strauss, chamber music, outreach concerts, and the joy of making music together — you already know how special this place is.

Your support helps us continue this work.

Why Your Gift Matters

The mission of the Winter Harbor Music Festival is simple: to bring musicians of all ages and levels together with professional artists, offering high-quality performances and meaningful musical experiences to the Downeast Maine community.

Your donation directly supports:

  • Community Opera productions
  • Chamber concerts and festival events
  • Scholarships for young and emerging musicians
  • The Downeast Chamber Orchestra
  • Year-round concerts, including our First Friday Series and holiday performances
  • Outreach and artist engagement in local businesses and educational venues
  • Artist Faculty who mentor, coach, rehearse, and perform alongside participants

Whether you attend one concert each summer or follow us all year long, your support keeps music vibrant in Downeast Maine.

Our 2025–2026 Fundraising Goal: $80,000

This season, we are working toward a $80,000 fundraising goal.

  • $30,000 to support programming, scholarships, outreach concerts, housing for musicians from around the world, rehearsal resources, and the increasing expenses of operating a year-round music festival in Downeast Maine.
  • $50,000 to support production costs, set building, and other essential building projects in the future.

Every contribution brings us closer to this goal and helps sustain the musical heartbeat of the Schoodic Peninsula.

Special Donor Offer

As a thank-you to our supporters, donors contributing $200 or more may purchase a Full Season Ticket for $150 — a $100 savings off the regular price.

Season Tickets include access to all festival events throughout the year.

A Quick Clarification

Because there are several arts organizations in our region, it’s easy for supporters to assume we are all part of the same entity. Winter Harbor Music is a completely separate nonprofit with its own staff, budget, and programming.

We rely on our own fundraising to sustain our work each season. When you give through this page, your donation supports Winter Harbor Music exclusively.
