Irv Hodgkin is a veteran actor who has performed with GSSME and the Grand Players for 37 years. Two years ago he reprised his role as Dick Deadeye from 18 years earlier. His more recent G&S roles have been as a Dragoon Guard in Patience and the 2nd Yeoman in Yeomen of the Guard at the Grand. With the Grand Players he played Admiral Boom in Mary Poppins, the Conductor in White Christmas and Colonel Mustard in Clue-The Musical. He has also performed with the New Surry Theatre as the Strongman/Fisherman in Carousel and as Judge Brandeis in Annie. Irv is a retired Environmental Engineer and WWTP Supervisor from the former Champion Int'l. mill in Bucksport. He lives in Ellsworth with his very patient wife, Helen! Sadly, his 14-year-old pet iguana, Gimpy, passed away in February this year. He has four adult children and seven grandchildren.
