Australian-American soprano Felicia Zangari made her operatic debut in the role of Barbarina in OperaRox Production’s inaugural production of Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro at Opera America in New York City. Subsequent opera credits include chorus for Beethoven’s Fidelio, a second production of Le nozze di Figaro, as well as the second ever American performance of Carl Orff’s Der Mond in which she was also a featured soloist. Last summer, she was a Young Artist with the Russian Opera Workshop in Philadelphia where she presented Russian song in recital and covered the title role of Alexander Dargomyzhsky’s rarely-head Rusalka. She is currently studying for her BMus at Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University.
